Why you should try zip-lining in Dubai MarinaXLine Dubai Marina

There are many reasons to try zip-lining with XLine in Dubai Marina.

  1. Those who decide to try zip-lining experience the incredible sensation of flying through the air. The Dubai zipline has a special design — you don’t sit in a special seat, but lie horizontally, which enhances the feeling of weightlessness, rapid flight and freedom.
  2. You can experience extreme pleasure and fly together, as the Dubai Marina zipline has two parallel tracks.
  3. The city is beautiful at any time of the day. From above, you can see many skyscrapers, parks, Palm Jumeirah and other sights from an unusual perspective.
  4. You can also take a camera with you, attached to a special bracelet, and capture your emotions during the flight on XLine Dubai. However, it is not recommended to take a phone or handheld video camera with you on the flight, as they are likely to fall out of your hands and get lost.

Height, length and speed of flight on the XLine zip line in Dubai

Two people can ride the XLine zip line in Dubai at the same time.

XLine is a cool zip line about one kilometre long, stretched from the roof of a skyscraper to the ground. The height of the zip line from which the flight begins is about 170 metres.

The speed of descent on the zip line depends on the section of the route. It is approximately 1/3 of the maximum speed and reaches 80 km/h. It’s like a car ride, only in the air. The XLine zip line is one of the longest in the UAE today.

The flight lasts about 1.8 minutes. The official website states that the duration is 90 minutes. However, this is an approximate time, which includes the time from registration at the Dubai Marina Mall shopping and entertainment centre and document verification to the landing of the excited participant and the receipt of video and photo materials of the adventure.

Restrictions on the Dubai Marina zip line

Not everyone can use the Dubai zip line. There are a number of restrictions for customer safety. First of all, the weight of a person who decides to fly must not exceed 100 kilograms, but must also be at least 40 kilograms. Height is also limited to 130 cm; people who are shorter will not be allowed to fly.

Pregnant women, intoxicated visitors (in Dubai, it is generally prohibited to appear in public while intoxicated, and this is especially true for the zip line attraction in Dubai Marina) and people with any injuries or under the influence of mind-altering drugs, as well as people with mental illnesses, are also not permitted.

Extreme sports enthusiasts aged 12 to 65 are allowed to fly. Children under the age of 18 must have written permission from their parents.
